Easy-Recruiter allows you to Import and Export information on Athletes, Schools, and Coaches. These features may be accessed in the following ways:
- From the Athlete Pane click on the appropriate toolbar button to Import or Export the current list of records.
- From the Schools Pane click on the appropriate toolbar button to Import or Export the current school data.
- From the Settings Pane, use the buttons on the coaches tab on the upper control panel to import or export HS coach information.
- From the Schools Pane use the Import/Export button on the coach's tab to access the "All Coaches List" and then on the upper right corner of the coach dialog.
- From the Athlete Pane use that coach ellipses button on the Sport tab to access the "All Coaches List" as another means of importing and exporting HS coach information.
OR
- From the Settings Pane use the buttons on the Data tab to Import or Export data for any combination of Athletes, Schools, and/or Coaches.
Search Integration When exporting Athlete and School information, you can limit the data that is included in the exported file by performing a search prior to the export process by using the
Athlete Search or
School Search features.
New Season Considerations If the Easy-Recruiter database has recently been installed or completed a
New Season Reset, external data must be imported in a specific order to maintain links or relationships between different types of contacts.
The proper Import order for setting up new information in related areas:
Schools, Coaches, Athletes. Supported File Formats Export files can be generated from Easy-Recruiter in the form of standard comma separated text files (*.txt), Excel™ spreadsheets (*.xls), or Dbase tables (*.dbf).
External data can be imported into Easy-Recruiter in the form of standard comma separated text files (*.csv or *.txt) and Microsoft Excel™ spreadsheets. External data can either be prepared in advance to conform to a standard file structure (order of fields) for use with the Basic Import features, or the
Advanced Import feature can be used to define a custom file structure.
