SOFTWARE LICENSING QUESTIONS
Question: How many computers can I install
a program on? When do I need to purchase additional licenses?
Answer: This varies by
product. Our Easy-Scout products
include two user licenses (i.e. can be used on two
computers "out of the box"), and can be installed on
additional computers for use by more than two
coaches on the same staff for a nominal cost.
The Football Statistics software that we offer can be installed on multiple
computers as long as it not used at the same time by
two or more people.
Playmaker Pro comes as a "staff license"
which enables all coaches on the same staff to use
it.
In other instances, a Single User, Single
Computer license is included, meaning a license for
each computer is required. Question:
Are there any exceptions for school
coaching staffs?
Answer:
Playmaker Pro by default comes as a Staff License
without a specific limit on the number of
installations.
Easy-Scout XP Plus and the Video Scouting
Edition of Easy-Scout Professional are, by default, "Staff
Editions" - licensed for use on multiple
computers if used by coaches on the same staff. There is a
nominal cost when more than two staff member licenses are
required. A reduced cost,
Personal Edition of Easy-Scout XP Plus is
available
when the Staff "sharing" option is not required.
