At times these problems will be the result of a problem with the software - commonly referred to as a "bug". At other times, problems will be the result of a hardware problem, hardware related issue such as insufficient memory or system resources, or even problems introduced by viruses or user restrictions imposed by a schools Information Technology (IT) policies and procedures.

Regardless of the cause of the problem, we at CompuSports understand that the long-term success of Easy-Recruiter depends on our ability to support our software by identifying and developing solutions to problems and on an ongoing basis. To this end, we've established a number of support tools and techniques to not only enable us to identify and correct problems, but to deliver updates to our users.

Easy-Recruiter incorporates an error log that records information to assist us in determining what caused an error to occur. In addition, the support section of CompuSports Online includes a section devoted to Easy-Recruiter technical issues.

If you encounter a problem or error message, before contacting us, try the following:


  1. Close the program, restart your computer and try to reproduce the problem. If you are unable to do so, it is likely that the problem resulted from a Windows memory or "resource problem". To prevent these problems, try to reduce the number of programs running at the same time Easy-Recruiter is running, particularly those that run in the System Tray (lower right corner of the Windows screen). If possible, close some of these programs or, if you don't need them running all the time, turn off the auto-start option so they are not automatically loaded when Windows starts. We recommend that you DO NOT change the setting of your Antivirus software, however.

  2. Test your other software applications and see if you are experiencing similar problems with those applications.

  3. Visit our web site and make sure you have the current release of Easy-Recruiter. If you do these things, and you continue to experience problems, it will be necessary for you to contact us for assistance. Before doing so, be sure to have the following information:


  1. The operating system you are using (Windows version)

  2. The amount of memory installed in your system

  3. The amount of Free Disk Space on the drive where Easy-Recruiter is installed

  4. Whether you are using a single user or network version

  5. Your serial number


We may ask you to send us the files that Easy-Recruiter creates when it recognizes that a problem has occurred. We may also want to send you one or more files that will correct your problem. If your computer does not have E-mail capabilities, have an email address ready for us in the event that we need to exchange files in order to identify and/or resolve the problem.
