One of Easy-Cut's most powerful and useful features is the ability to work with multiple projects at one time through the use of a "tabbed" project grid. In the example below, you can see the Easy-Cut Project manager with two active projects - taken from a "work in progress" video review of a football game. In this case, we are working with a project for Offense and Defense at the same time.
Because we first captured our video in Windows Movie Maker as a Windows Media file (one that consumed less than 10% of the disk space that some video editing programs), it easily fits on our computer's internal hard drive, making it possibly to work with our video projects as our work schedule permits. No external hard drive is required. As we "break down" the game, we create an "index" that consists of one or more plays. Once added to the project, a play is accessible for a variety of editing and analysis functions. Here's a look at a project grid with titles that were created with the Easy-Cut title tool ... and the actual video file we created in Windows Media format from this project.
