Licensing and Technical Support
The following information will assist you in understanding the Easy-Scout XP Professional and Easy-Cut License and Technical Support Agreement. The Licensee is the entity, a person, school or booster club, that purchases the license to use a piece of software. Single User Licenses The licensee may install and register Easy-Scout XP Professional and Easy-Cut on one computer. Summary:
Easy-Scout Professional Scouting and
Editing for 1 computer Two User Licenses The licensee may install and register Easy-Scout XP Professional on any two computers, provided they will be used by either the same person in a Home/Work, Home/School, or Laptop/Desktop or Laptop/Laptop configuration. This makes is possible for multiple coaches at the same school and on the same staff to each install and use the software, or for one coach to use the software on two different computers. When the licensee is an organization - school or booster club, the software can be installed on up to two computers owned or authorized by the organization. When Easy-Scout XP Professional is bundled with Easy-Cut, the Easy-Cut licensing will mirror the Easy-Scout XP Professional licensing (1 or 2 computers per licensee). Summary:
Easy-Scout Professional Scouting and
Editing for 2 computers Season Pass License The licensee may install and register Easy-Scout XP Professional and Easy-Cut on one computer. Season Pass is unlike the other Easy-Scout Professional licenses. Season Pass is a subscription, as opposed to a one time purchase. Summary:
Easy-Scout Professional Scouting and
Editing for 1 computer Site Licenses Site Licenses for Easy-Scout XP Professional and Easy-Cut are available when it is necessary to install the software on more than two computers. A typical Site license covers up to four users of each product at a cost of 1.5 times the normal price of Easy-Scout XP Professional. Said another way, adding two additional users costs roughly half (50%) of the price of Easy-Scout XP Professional. In addition to Easy-Scout Professional and Easy-Cut, Site Licenses include the use of any Easy-Scout product. Season Pass Site Licenses are available on request. Technical Support for Staff (Site) License arrangements In Staff (aka Site) License arrangements, a single primary point of contact and a secondary point of contact for technical support is required. All users have access to our online support, knowledgebase, chat and video tutorials. The primary and secondary support contacts have access to our Phone Support. Example Scenario: Easy-Scout Professional will be installed on a desktop or home computer of the Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator as well as a workstation in a meeting room to be equipped with the software. In this scenario, only one additional license would need to be purchased, which would bring the total cost to $1495 ($995 for the first 2 users and $500 for the additional 2 licenses). Since each Easy-Scout XP Professional license includes a license for Easy-Cut, all three coaches would be able to install and use Easy-Cut at no additional cost, and Easy-Cut could be installed in the Meeting Room.
