The Coach's Office system is a "modular" system that enables a coach to select only those components (modules) that are necessary. The Chalk Board module (required), is where plays are created and can be used by itself to create and Print single Play Cards or in conjunction with the Play Script and/or Playbook modules to organize and enhance the process of Organizing and Printing those Plays. The Slide Show module works in conjunction with the Playbook module to provide "Powerpoint-like" presentation capabilities to the Coach's Office system. The Video Module, used in conjunction with the Slide Show module, enables a coach to link an illustration (drawing) and a Video Clip and incorporate both in a Playbook, Scouting report or other type of Coach's Office presentation. All Coach's Office modules are available in Single User and 2-User editions. A specially priced, limited capacity Youth Playbook package is also available. The information below is meant to simplify the process of selecting the Coach's Office modules that are required for the tasks you wish to perform. * A license is required for each computer on which Coach's Office will be installed (i.e. the word "user" and "computer" are treated the same way. For example, one coach using Coach's Office on two computers and two coaches using Coachs Office on one computer would be considered as 2 users). Coaches Office Chalkboard What is it? The Chalkboard module is included in all versions of Coach's Office. The Chalkboard is used to create, modify, save and delete Plays. Plays can consist of an Offensive Formation or Play, a Defensive Front and Defensive Coverage. These "components" of a play can be stored in a database, where they become available with a single mouse click from a drop-down menu. When purchased as part of the Youth Playbook, the Chalkboard is limited to 50 items in each of the three "component" lists at any given time (Offense, Front and Coverage). What is it? The Chalkboard and Playbook modules together enable the user to create Playbooks and to print Play Cards one at a time. This is typically the "entry level" to the Coach's Office system for Coaches whose primary goal is to produce Play Cards, a printed Playbook (incorporating "extensive" and "formatted" text with drawings on the same page) and Play Sheets for scouting reports.
Coaches Office Pro Script with Play Cards What is it? The Coach's Office Pro Script includes the Chalkboard and Script Modules. Together they enable the user to create Play Cards and Practice Scripts. The Script serves as both an organizational tool for planning practice periods and a powerful printing "engine" for generating Play Cards in full size or "miniature" version - 2, 4, 6, 8, 16 or 32 plays per page (or in a user-defined number and layout). In addition, the Play Script module includes a practice planning tool for determining which plays were practiced. Available in the Pro Version only . Playbook, Slide Show and Video Modules are NOT included but can be added easily and quickly.
Coaches Office
Pro Bundle What is it? The Professional Bundle includes the Chalkboard, Script and Playbook modules - what we call the 3 "core modules" of the Coach's Office system . The Pro Bundle includes unlimited capacity for creating Play Cards, Play Scripts and Playbooks. Slide Show and Video Modules are NOT included but can be added easily and quickly.
Coaches Office Slide Show Module What is it? The Slide Show module is a presentation system similar in concept to Microsoft's Powerpoint - that is designed to "present" Coach's Office Playbooks or Chapters.
Coaches Office Video Module What is it? The Video module works with the Coach's Office Slide Show to link a Video Clip to a Play or Playbook page. It works with ANY video clip, but can interface DIRECTLY. The Video Module works with Movie Projects from many Video Editing programs, including Easy-Scout XP Professional. (requires the Pro Playbook and Slide Show Modules)
Coaches Office Individual Module Add on, Upgrade Options What is it? Coach's Office can be expanded by adding additional user licenses, upgrading the Youth Playbook to the Pro Playbook or Pro Bundle, and adding the Pro Script or Pro Playbook option create a Pro Bundle. All prices below are for single licenses. Additional user licenses cost either $89 or $99 (for Modules or the Pro Bundle respectively). We have listed the most common upgrade options below.
