CompuSports and Easy-Scout - a brief History

CompuSports.com is the football coaching software "store", so to speak, for CompuSports Inc, a publisher and distributor of coaching software and information products. 

CompuSports was founded in 1984 for the purpose of developing and distributing Easy-Scout. Easy-Scout was the culmination of CompuSports' founder's having spent four years "scouting" and determining tendencies the "old-way" - with pencil and paper, and his realization that "personal" computers could make a process (scouting) more efficient and effective. 

Easy-Scout was first developed for the Apple II and original IBM Personal Computer and has been continually refined and enhanced ever since. Now, in its 25th year, Easy-Scout is available in two versions - one for scouting, and a second that adds video editing capabilities:  Easy-Scout XP Professional. 

CompuSports as Software Publisher and Distributor

In addition to publishing Easy-Scout products for football coaches, CompuSports publishes Easy-Recruiter (athletic recruiting software), Athletic Equipment Manager (sports clothing and equipment inventory management) and Easy-Cut (sports Digital Video Editing).  CompuSports also represents a small, carefully selected, and continually evaluated number of leading publishers of football coaching software as a distributor for their products.  These publishers have demonstrated a commitment to keeping their products up-to-date and to supporting our mutual customers.
